Heron now joins the pond family
23/04/2010
We now have a heron fishing on the Riding Pond, one more to add to the Riding Family of geese and ducks. We think he is a grumpy heron, as he does make a noise when the ducks go near, however the geese can give as good as they get.
We have not seen his/her mate yet but we may have baby herons this year.
Our guests do enjoy going down for a little walk to watch the birds on the pond before they set of to explore the North East.
